Taylor Rutlege
Graduate Student Intern
Taylor views counseling as a meaningful opportunity for growth and self-discovery. She considers it an honor to create a safe, supportive, and empathetic space where children feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Taylor has spent much of her life working with children in a variety of settings. She served as a Co-Theatre Director for a science and arts summer camp for seven years, where she combined creativity and connection to support children’s growth. She also worked as an occupational and academic support professional with children on the autism spectrum, and most recently facilitated a play therapy group for Pre-K students. Taylor is passionate about supporting children as they build emotional awareness and develop skills for self-regulation.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and is currently in her final year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program at the same university.
Outside of her work, Taylor enjoys spending time in nature with loved ones and getting lost in a good book.
